Leah & Kyle were an absolute joy to photograph, and I feel so lucky to have been a part of their wedding day. Their love for each other, their friends, and their families was so beautifully present throughout the entire day—it was truly one of those weddings where you could feel the warmth in the room.
Their spring wedding day began at the stunning 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge, where they got ready in light-filled suites with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the East River. The excitement was palpable as final details came together—Leah stepping into her wedding attire, Kyle straightening his lapel, happy tears welling up in the eyes of loved ones. Their first look on the hotel’s terrace was one for the books—set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Brooklyn Bridge, they shared an emotional, private moment before heading off to their venue.
From there, we journeyed over to 501 Union, one of my absolute favorite wedding venues in Brooklyn. The venue’s signature wall of windows allows natural light to stream through, creating the dreamiest glow for their ceremony. Leah and Kyle exchanged vows in front of their closest friends and family, standing beneath an elegant floral installation by Fern Botanica, as sunlight filtered through the glass. It was an emotional, heartfelt ceremony—filled with laughter, meaningful words, and a few tears (including my own!).
Immediately after the ceremony, guests headed into the lounge for cocktail hour, where they sipped signature drinks and enjoyed delicious bites from EVENTFULLNYC. Meanwhile, we took full advantage of golden hour, stepping outside for some sunset portraits. The energy between Leah and Kyle was pure magic—they were completely in the moment, soaking in their first moments as a married couple.
Then, it was time for the party to begin. And wow, what a party it was! The dance floor officially opened with the hora, as guests lifted Leah and Kyle into the air while dancing and cheering. They made a brilliant choice in incorporating a disco ball, which cast dazzling lights across the room, elevating the entire atmosphere. 74Events kept the dance floor packed all night, and the joy was absolutely contagious.
Every detail of their wedding was so thoughtfully chosen—from their beautiful invitations by Paper Heart Co to the seamless coordination by Rachel Behar Events. Their wedding day was a true reflection of who they are: joyful, vibrant, and full of love.
Leah and Kyle, it was such an honor to be part of your day. Wishing you both a lifetime of laughter, adventure, and disco ball-lit dance parties.
