MEET RILEY BRENNAN
I'm Riley, a Brooklyn-based photographer with a deep passion for human connection and storytelling. My journey with photography began when I was thirteen, inspired by a love for travel and a desire to document the world around me.
What started with a camera in hand on cross-country road trips soon evolved into a lifelong pursuit of capturing meaningful, fleeting moments.
With a BFA in Photography from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), I merge my background in fine art and documentary photography to craft images that are both timeless and deeply personal. My approach is about more than just taking photos—it's about creating an experience where you feel seen, celebrated, and at ease in front of the lens. Whether it's the quiet moments or the grand, exuberant ones, I am drawn to the in-between—the raw, the real, the beautifully imperfect.

Artist's Statement
At my core, I am an artist. My work is rooted in storytelling, blending documentary honesty with creative experimentation.
Weddings, to me, are a dynamic mix of emotion, artistry, and spontaneity—a space where I get to balance composition, light, and human connection to create something truly one-of-a-kind.
I believe the most powerful images are the ones that transport you back—not just to how a moment looked, but to how it felt. That’s why I approach wedding photography with an observant eye, seeking out the quiet hand squeezes, the knowing glances, the joyous bursts of laughter. My role isn’t just to capture how your wedding day unfolds but to preserve the essence of who you are, together, in this moment in time.
With a documentary foundation, I aim to be present without intrusion—offering gentle direction when needed while allowing space for natural, authentic moments to emerge. Whether it's playing with light and shadow, embracing the movement of the day, or capturing the raw intimacy of an unguarded exchange, my goal is to create images that resonate beyond the present, images that become part of your history.
